This past week, I took my father to our local “Infusion Center” so that he could get a blood transfusion. Prior to the procedure, he was tired and irritable, lacked an appetite, and could not focus easily on conversations. The process took over five hours. The nurses remarked on the positive change in his color as the process continued. We were sent off with the hope that, within a day, two days, or a week, this “infusion” would make him feel better.
