This one word can make all of the difference in a day, a career, a relationship, and just about anything else.
Some people seem to naturally project only the most positive of attitudes, while others appear a bit more tempered and reserved in their demeanor.
In our work with clients, I am continually amazed by those who position themselves in a place of abundant possibilities. They approach their everyday activities and their loftiest goals with the attitude of “of course I can.” No stress, no angst, no complaining; simply consistent movement towards their goals.
I’m not certain what their internal conversations sound like, but I bet they include some lines of encouragement similar to those that many of us have heard, including:
- Ask. Believe. Receive.
- If you can see it, you can achieve it.
- If you say it, it will happen.
- Goals are most easily achieved if you write them down and keep them visible.
- Just keep swimming.
You certainly can’t discount the importance of skills and experience in one's ability reach goals, but there is something truly powerful about embarking on the journey with the attitude of abundant possibilities.
This week--and every week--keep an attitude of abundant possibilities and make it happen.
